Nectar-rich Bronze Flower Mix

This pollen and nectar flower mix is suitable for both AB1 (Countryside Stewardship) and CAHL1 and AHL1 (SFI) options. A mix of short- and long-lived species including clovers, lucerne, knapweed, sainfoin, vetch and yarrow should provide an excellent, extended food source and habitat for natural crop pest predators and pollinating insects such as hoverflies, butterflies and bees.
 
This flower-rich mix is grass-free, so there is less material to cut. It is a good option even for heavier soil types where grasses can become dominant.
