Today, we are pleased to welcome Phil Jarvis as Oakbank’s new Head of Operations.
Phil brings an exceptional combination of hands-on farming experience, environmental land management expertise and industry leadership. His career has included arable and livestock farming in the UK, over 20 years with the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust’s Allerton Project and senior roles within Albanwise. He is a Chartered Environmentalist and former Chair of the National Farmers Union Environment Forum.

Oakbank has been built around technical expertise, strong service and real-world land management. We are proud to be a trusted partner for practical, commercially sound environmental solutions. Phil’s appointment brings extensive first-hand experience across farming, estate management and Landscape Recovery projects. This strengthens our team at a time when those managing the countryside are making increasingly complex business decisions about food production, environmental delivery and long-term resilience.
Ana Reynolds, Managing Director, said:
“Phil brings exactly what matters to our customers - he understands farming and land management inside-out and has the strategic insight needed to help businesses respond to environmental opportunities, policy change and commercial pressure. His appointment supports our continued focus on practical, high-quality service, whether customers are reviewing scheme options, developing a whole-estate strategy or choosing the right seed or tree for the job.”
Tim Furbank, Founding Director, said:
“Oakbank has always been at its best when practical experience and technical advice come together. Phil understands the pressures farmers and estates face because he has worked in that world throughout his career. Whether we are supplying seed, advising on habitats or helping customers think through longer-term land management decisions, our advice has to work on the ground.”
