Grass

There are so many different types of grass seed mix that it would be impossible to have a comprehensive selection for every purpose, so please contact us to discuss your requirements. We can supply grass mixes for:

  • Forage

  • Environmental purposes

  • Lawns and Recreation

  • General Landscaping

A small selection of the grass mixes that we use regularly are:

Greenscape

A mix of Perennial Ryegrasses and Strong Creeping Red Fescue, ideal for general landscaping and lawns. Oakbank have used this mix extensively for scenarios such as caravan parks, fishing lakes and family lawns as it has excellent wear tolerance, good summer colour and low management costs.

  • Available in 10kg and 20kg Bags
Greenfine

A mix of Perennial Ryegrasses and Strong Creeping Red Fescue, ideal for general landscaping and lawns. Oakbank have used this mix extensively for scenarios such as caravan parks, fishing lakes and family lawns as it has excellent wear tolerance, good summer colour and low management costs.

Horsemax Paddock Grazing Mix

This is a good quality, hard wearing paddock mix that will last many years. We get so many positive comments about this mix where it is used to overseed or reseed worn out paddocks. The grass cultivars chosen are relatively low in soluble carbohydrates (sugars) so they will help to prevent the worst effects of laminitis. A crop of Hay can be taken from this mix if required too.

  • Available in 10kg Bags
VersaMax All Stock

A versatile mixture to cut or graze, this ley will withstand heavy grazing by all classes of stock. If ensiling this mix will give good yields and quality.

Contains: Intermediate and Late Perennial Ryegrass, Timothy and White Clover Blend. (A No Clover version is also available)

  • Available in 20kg Bags
