Single Row Precision Seeder

This is a brilliant tool for both keen vegetable gardeners and farmers as it allows areas that cannot be reached with conventional drills to be planted accurately.  The drill is pushed along and the depth of planting is controlled by a simple adjustable tine.  The seed wheels inside are changed according to the type of seed being sown and this determines the distance between the seeds in each row.  The drill also has an Outrigger that can be set to a fixed distance and will mark the position of the next adjacent row.

Oakbank have found this to be a perfect tool for planting crops like Canary Grass and Chicory in wide rows and the work rates are suprisingly high.  The ability to plant in wide rows is particularly useful and it can be used in some very inaccessible areas which often suits these perennial crops.  For more information please speak to Ian at the office on 01480 890686.
