Game Mix 109 - 10kg

This is a budget mix, but it will perform well for farmland birds and game.  Cover and feed are provided by the mix of Reed and White Millet plus a blend of other small, palatable seeds.

Game Mix 306 - 10kg

A wonderful combination of food and cover to last the whole season. A particular favourite of partridges and of ‘keepers, this 4-5ft high crop produces steady flushes of birds from October to January.

Game Mix 406 - 25kg

Designed to provide good winter cover and food and to fit the ELS rules, this mix has the added advantage of being tolerant of specific herbicides, making weed control more straightforward.  The seed contains a mix of species that all drill well together and they provide that elusive balance of environmental benefit and game holding ability. A Proven Winner - Highly Recommended!!

Oakbank Bumblebird Mix - 25kg

 

This mix was designed by Ian for a number of HLS agreements in the South West Farmland Bird Initiative.  It is a Cornucopia of palatable seeds for a wide range of target bird species, as well as having some useful pollen & nectar species mixed in for added benefit.  It is suitable for many HLS HF12 presciptions but please check with your HLS Advisor or your prescription first.  If in any doubt please contact us.

Oakbank Corn Bunting Mix - 25kg

 

This mix is often specified in the HLS precription on farms where Corn Bunting are found.  It is designed for both nesting and winter feeding of these special, but increasingly scarce, little birds.

Suitable for ELS and some HLS HF12 prescriptions

 

 

Oakbank Tree Sparrow Mix - 25kg

 

This is a very straightforward mix to grow and is aimed at feeding Tree Sparrows and other grain eating farmland birds.  If you are looking for a simple mix for ELS and you do not require a game cover, this is a good choice.
