Tim is very much a man of Stirtloe, and still lives in the family home that he grew up in, just outside Buckden near St Neots.

His farming roots run deep, although the Furbank Empire now includes a very well known ladies dress shop (Anne Furbank and an excellent hotel (The George in Buckden). Tim's parents knew they had struck lucky when Tim got married and the main businesses are now run by Tim's wife Becky!

His career has always had an Agricultural element to it, starting off as a Group Secretary for the NFU, before moving on to a very successful spell with Dalgety Agriculture. Tim's enthusiastic, "never-say-die" attitude has helped him to achieve great success in many aspects of his career, not least at Kings where he was responsible for the great success that he and Ian made of the Game Cover department.

Tim has been a stalwart of Huntingdon Rugby club for many years as a player, Club Captain and more recently Club Chairman. Away from work, home and rugby, Tim's other passion is fly fishing. His knowledge of trout streams and pools is astonishing, mainly because whenever he is visiting clients he always asks if they have any fishing on the place! Tim's family consists of (long suffering) wife Becky, son George and daughter Alex, springer spaniel Twix and assorted chickens.
