If you order seed from us it comes complete with an agronomy information sheet and our members area provides more technical information. However, for many projects a far more in-depth service is required.

We have been involved with a large number of ELS and HLS applications, from a short review of an ELS application, through to a complete Farm Environment Plan. Our advisors can help with part of the process or complete the application for you.

There are elements of these schemes that offer a tremendous opportunity for improving the habitat and biodiversity of your land. The options need to be chosen and sited well, integrating them into the whole farm system, with an on-going management plan. This is an area that Oakbank have a strong background, particularly the encouragement of wild game birds. If you share our passion please give us a call.

Probably our biggest attribute is the ability to work out solutions that satisfy both farm and game departments. Unfortunately there is often conflict between the two over land use and financial contribution. Through our experience in agriculture we understand the practicalities and difficulties involved in running a successful agri-business and are therefore able to find compromises that benefit game without causing additional work or financial penalty for the farm. In many cases our involvement has had positive benefits for both parties.
